Le château de Lavaux-Sainte-Anne

Last weekend, Grandma wanted to see “a castle”, so, we set out for a castle. This request is easier to meet after the Easter holiday, as most castles are closed in the wintertime. Near Luxembourg, we did find the

Le château de Lavaux-Sainte-Anne open however. This 13th century castle began initially as a watchtower and gradually developed into the current structure, to include a dungeon, moat, and all the fun elements of any great castle.
Dinner anyone?
Kids giving each other antlers in the antler room where all the furniture was made of,
you guessed it,
Note: Emory thought that was a dead cat on the table. Trip to a zoo is now pressing.
Grandma choosing her weapon...
Whoo-oo gives a hoot? Stella was playing around near one of many wild animal exhibits.
This owl isn't the only one who thinks she's a little cooky.
Well grandma, you can check "castle" off the must do list this trip.
Though she has informed us that now she'd like to visit castle ruins... stay tuned.
