For this guy, the ski lessons were fun, but a little long. By the second day, he determined that he wanted a nap and less time on the slopes. He was sounding a little sluggish and weary, which was concerning, because we were hoping to gently encourage time in the snow. Suddenly, from across the parking lot, he could hear the unmistakable sound of whirling of helicopter rotors. He wouldn't get into the car until he saw the helicopter lift off and soar over the mountains.
For dad and son alike, this seemed to be a 30 second highlight of our ski trip.
