Daddy's Gone

When daddy goes out of town, it can only mean one thing for dinner....
crepes.
We fill 'em with anything...usually berries, but sometimes just a sugar crepe with lemon juice squirted over it, or nutella and bananas. Tonight we stuffed those babies with fresh berries and lathered it all with strawberry syrup made from the recent farm visit. (The syrup really is that bright- no color alteration on that photo.)
De-lish! (Actually, I don't know "de-lish"  for sure, the kids ate them all...I had leftovers to be honest. But it looked incredible.

Next time your dad goes out of town, you should definitely try this little french- pick-me-up.
It's ooo-la-la yummy, easy, and quick.
Here's the recipe...
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Blend all ingredients in bowl until very smooth. Pour about 1/4 to 1/2 cup into crepe pan(depending on size), or skillet and roll pan to make thin coating. Cook on medium heat til smooth and bubbles are gone. Flip and cook a minute or two more - should be golden on both sides when you pop it out of the pan.
Enjoy!
